Our History

For generations, this property was home to a working dairy farm, cared for by the same family through multiple generations. The farm played an important role in the local agricultural community, with dairy operations continuing on the land until the early 2000s.

In 2018, the property was purchased by adjacent neighbor and cousin, ensuring that its agricultural roots and family connections would continue. Since then, the farmhouse has been thoughtfully renovated while preserving its rural character and history.

Today, the open fields remain an active part of the area's farming heritage. The land continues on in agricultural production, growing feed for the dairy cows. The vast wooded acres thoughtfully maintained and managed for wildlife biodiversity. While the property has evolved over time, its connection to the land, Vermont agriculture, and family traditions remains at the heart of its story.
